“I no longer relate to the character Ishwari. Don’t want to waste my time over saas bahu drama”-Supriya Pilgaonkar
Off late, one of Sony TV’s best shows Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi has been at the receiving end of a lot of criticism, the reason being the shift in its storyline. A show that was meant to justify why a mother gets insecure of sharing the love of her son with someone else, has now shifted its plot to typical saas bahu drama.
In fact, the lead of the show Shaheer Sheikh, even made his displeasure regarding the current track indirectly evident in an encrypted tweet a few weeks back.
And now, it’s the main lead’s on screen mother Ishwari (Supriya Pilgaonkar). Supriya, herself feels that the show has now become a saas bahu saga and made her displeasure quite evident.
However, before you guys panic, Supriya is not quitting the show. She merely voiced her unhappiness over how her track and character was progressing.
She clarified the same to an entertainment portal and was quoted as saying that she was committed to playing Ishwari and would continue to do so. She was just frustrated that the show was going the saas bahu saga way. But Supriya is not blaming the creatives for the same. But as an actor, if she can not enact a scene, restlessness seeps in.
Supriya will soon be having a word with the makers of the show and she is confident that they will understand her point of view and come out with a solution.
Well, after two of the main characters of their show have voiced their concerns pertaining to the show’s on going track, looks like it is high time for the makers to act fast.
